Modern Remains Studio

When Betsy and Lauren set out to design their own studio, the goal was simple: build a space that didn't feel like an office at all. Housed in the old Belle Meade Hosiery Factory in Nashville, the showroom takes advantage of twenty-six-foot ceilings, original century-old beams, and clerestory windows that flood the space with light.

The result is an intimate showroom rather than a traditional workspace, filled with a curated collection of art, antiques, artisan-made and bespoke pieces, and found objects. It is as much a place to present ideas to clients as it is a working reflection of the firm's own design philosophy.
